The men and women live in a giant silo underground with a few rules they believe were put in place to protect them from the toxic and ruined world above. Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of the book "The Wave" – the book has 82 chapters. The floor fans in various episodes spin in the wrong direction when it comes to the orientation of the blades. Spinning this way doesn’t push or pull any air. Featured in WatchMojo: Top 10 of 2023 TV Shows You Should Watch (2023). The Silo is a very good sci-fi show that has that rarity that most other sci-fi series and movies unfortunately lack – it’s actually very clever! The script is excellent, the direction is good, and the stars are all great in the acting department. Some of the supporting and minor characters could have been better, but overall it was a well done job by the casting department. I understand why some of the other reviews seem to point out that the show starts off great but then also goes on a lot of "side adventures" unrelated to the main story, that don’t get resolved, but I’m actually totally fine with that. I’m sure the show will come back and that they plan to continue and resolve the various storylines. I for one am very eager to see how they tie it all together when it comes back!
