Sequel to Avatar: The Path of Water (2022). The plot is unknown. Speaking to French news outlet 20 Minutes (via Culture Crave), James Cameron revealed that the third film will feature a villainous group of Na’vi called the Ash People. “I want to explore the Navi from a different perspective, because [so far] I’ve only shown their good sides. In the first films, there are very negative examples of humans and very positive examples of Navi. In Avatar 3, we’ll do the opposite.” Followed by Avatar 4 (2029)
