Porky Pig and Daffy Duck are Earth’s only hope when they face the threat of an alien invasion. The first Looney Tunes film to be released in theaters and not by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film was originally intended to be a streaming-exclusive release on the Max streaming service. After the company passed on the film, the film was shipped to other distributors, eventually GFM Animation acquired the worldwide distribution rights and the film was released in theaters. Inside the meteor, when Daffy demonstrates his talent with arms, he pulls the lever to lower the machine and presses it to go up again. Porky does the same later in the scene. However, when Porky and Petunia are strapped in, Daffy pushes the lever forward and the machine still lowers them. At the end of the closing credits, Porky Pig utters his classic statement, “That’s it, folks!” only to be interrupted by Daffy Duck, who tells him that the movie isn’t over yet and that they need a sequel. He appeared in AniMat Crazy Cartoon Characters: Crazy Comic Con Coverages (2022). Mr. Bass Man Written by Johnny Cymbal Digitrax Entertainment under an agreement with Covered Records, Inc. I really liked the movie. The story is a little, well, crazy, but what else would you expect from Looney Tunes, but it works as a Daffy Duck and Porky Pig movie. However, I have to say that the action was very exaggerated. Of course, we are talking about Looney Tunes here, mainly Daffy Duck, but still. Then the joke was a little lacking for me. There were funny moments, no question, but that proper wit and humor that defines Looney Tunes was either missing or rare. But otherwise, I can recommend the movie as a hand-drawn animated film in modern times. This review is from Germany, where the movie has already been released.
